It all started out as a way to kill time - the school's annual cross country event had been postponed due to rain. A few girls had nothing to do and were desperate to kill time. Rather than stone somewhere, a suggestion was made to go to a jamming studio - half of them never having stepped in one before - and voila. A few on/off weeks later, Tainted Friday(previously named Flowus Home) was officially formed.
Made of a bunch of girls, each one has picked up her instrument and are self-taught, or given really useful advice by other helpful musicians. With each member having different influences, this band plays an assorted range of music, including Rock, Alternative, Old School and many other different genres, and is on her way to some original tunes as well. They play as a full band, and also with everyone singing along to an acoustic and a shaker or two.
Tainted Friday is definitely not just some girl band attempting to play instruments - don`t believe it? Watch them play live one day - and be surprised.
